- Project type: Installation Project
- Clock type: Three train flatbed
- Building: All Saints Church – Rotherby, Leicestershire
Regular clock winding at Rotherby church was eliminated by the installation of two AW40 drives for the going and strike
mechanisms and a heavier duty AW80 for the quarter mechanism. These, in conjunction with an AGR pendulum regulator now take care of the need for winding and constantly correcting the clock.
“The service we have received from Richard White has been brilliant, from the initial contact and site meeting through to installation and after care service. The quotation that we received was competitive and we appreciated the fact that it was not full of clauses and “things that were not included!” The work was completed within a couple of weeks and the motors installed are of good quality and have ran perfectly since, we are pleased that we also opted for the regulator as our clock now maintains excellent time. Having personally wound our clock weekly for over 25 years Richards installations have been like a miracle for me! We would strongly recommend Richard White and would be happy to speak with anyone who would like a reference.”
